Support with Pre-removal Risk Assessments (PRRA):

An Overview:

Pre-removal Risk Assessment (PRRA) is a process designed for individuals who are facing removal from Canada but have concerns about their safety or well-being if they return to their home country or another country they may be sent to. The PRRA process aims to evaluate the potential risks these individuals may face upon removal and determine if there are any grounds to prevent their removal.

The Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB) is in charge of conducting Pre-Removal Risk Assessments (PRRAs). Specifically, the IRB’s Refugee Protection Division (RPD) is responsible for all PRRA proceedings.

Those who want to pursue a PRRA must first meet the eligibility criteria for the application, followed by document preparation and submission of the application. After you submit the PRRA application, you may be asked by the IRCC to attend an interview to present your case, after which a decision will be issued. We understand that the PRRA process can oftentimes be hectic, tedious, and technical. That’s why at Northpass we are equipped with the expertise necessary to offer support with the PRRA applications from start to completion. And while we can’t guarantee a positive decision from the IRCC, we can certainly expand on your existing chances of a positive outcome.

NorthPass takes pride in consistently traversing the Canadian immigration and refugee system with fluent efficiency and excellence. We are here to meet your needs. Contact us to learn more about how we can support you with your PRRA.
